Michael Dexter - SiaTech Mods

Project Log

Michael's intention with his build is to bring some of that Hollywood glamour back home in the form of a 20th Century Fox movie studio theme. Glitz and sparkle is the name of the game here, with gold being a very prominent colour in the build.

Michael wasted no time getting to work on the case, repainting sections of the rear I/O panel to add colour accents. He then moved on to the motherboard tray and exterior corner sections, opting for a deep gold metal-flake finish

Of course, the motherboard also got the same treatment, with the shroud  and heatsinks changing from black to a fetching smooth gold, and it seems reminiscent of the Z97 chipset, doesn't it?

Lastly Michael turned his attention to the radiator and GPU backplate, once again going with gold to match the other parts. For the backplate he chose to fill the lines with gold, rather than painting the whole surface so as to keep the colour as an accent rather than taking over.

And of course, don't forget to check out Michael's Project Log for more!
